In September 2020, I had the privilege of conducting the 9th batch of ILO-standard entrepreneurship training, focusing on Generate Your Business Idea (GYBI) and Start Your Business (SYB). This training aimed to empower aspiring entrepreneurs and promote SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) creation in Afghanistan.
The program took place over 60 hours of onsite training, where participants learned how to generate and refine their business ideas, as well as how to plan, finance, and manage their ventures. Following this, I provided an additional 60 hours of personalized coaching, ensuring each participant received the support they needed to successfully launch their businesses.
This training was conducted in collaboration with the Afghan National Association for Adult Education (ANAFAE) and X-pert International Training and Testing Center. It was designed to help participants gain practical, actionable knowledge in entrepreneurship, from business ideation to implementation.
By equipping future entrepreneurs with essential skills and knowledge, this initiative plays a crucial role in fostering economic growth and promoting self-reliance in Afghanistan’s evolving business landscape.
Below are some videos from the training, capturing moments of learning, collaboration, and the journey toward business success.
