In November 2020, I had the privilege of conducting the 10th batch of ILO-standard entrepreneurship training, focusing on Generate Your Business Idea (GYBI) and Start Your Business (SYB). This training was designed to empower aspiring entrepreneurs and promote SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) creation in Afghanistan.
The program involved 60 hours of onsite training, where participants gained practical skills in business ideation, planning, and execution. After the onsite training, each participant received an additional 60 hours of personalized coaching, which allowed for in-depth support and guidance as they prepared to launch their businesses.
This initiative was supported by Afghan National Association for Adult Education (ANAFAE) and X-pert International Training and Testing Center, both of whom played an essential role in delivering this impactful training.
By providing these future entrepreneurs with the tools and knowledge to bring their ideas to life, this program aims to play a significant role in boosting Afghanistan’s economic growth and creating a sustainable foundation for small and medium-sized businesses.
